Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it. We do not sell your personal data.
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal data to operate the service:
- Calculator inputs — figures you enter (purchase price, sale price, dates, income) are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers.
- Payment data — when you purchase Pro, Paddle collects your payment details. We receive only a transaction ID confirming payment. We never see or store your card number.
- Analytics — if PostHog analytics is enabled, we collect anonymised page views and feature usage events (no personally identifiable information). You can opt out via your browser's Do Not Track setting.
- Server logs — standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the calculator service.
- To verify Pro license purchases via Paddle transaction IDs.
- To monitor for abuse and maintain security.
- We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
3. Cookies
We use a single localStorage entry to remember your Pro license status in your browser. We do not use tracking cookies. Third-party services (Paddle, PostHog) may set their own cookies subject to their respective privacy policies.
4. Third-Party Services

- Google Fonts — fonts loaded from Google's CDN. See Google's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Retention
We do not store calculator inputs. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. Paddle retains payment records per their own policy.
6. Your Rights

7. Children's Privacy
This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
